The scale and agility of our global operations mean we deliver malt in any quantity, from every origin, to nearly every corner of the world. 

Whether you need bagged or bulk malt – or a seamless mix of both, we are a one-stop-shop for speciality malts, adjuncts, yeast, hops and other everyday brewing and distilling ingredients anywhere in the world.  

Our reach is global. But our roots? Always local. With 40 malthouses and 17 distribution hubs across three regions, we process barley close to where it’s grown, working hand-in-hand with farmers to preserve freshness, secure supply and capture the unique character of each origin. 

We combine global scale with local intimacy. Our dedicated account teams are deeply rooted in brewing and distilling communities and offer expertise to support the requirements of international brands. 

Moving malt for you

We know every port in the world. From delivering a single bag to a craft brewer in Alaska, to shipping 80,000 tonnes of authentic French, Czech, German and Belgian malt first to Lagos, then on to Melbourne. Wherever it travels, your malt is handled with the same care and passion we put into making it. 

 With partners such as Soufflet Agriculture we have access to more than 245 silos, procurement points, supply stores, and logistics platforms giving you the assurance of global coverage and connectivity. We’ve got you covered. 

Sustainability in motion 

Around 90% of our barley is sourced in the same country where it is malted, with the majority of our malthouses strategically located near local growers, customer facilities and key transport routes. 

With 11% of a beer’s carbon footprint tied to transport, we’re cutting emissions through powerful partnerships, breakthrough technologies, and smarter ways to move malt. 

In France, our switch to Oleo100 biofuel with rail partner, Europorte, has cut greenhouse gas emissions from trains leaving our Strasbourg malthouse by 60%.
