Around 90% of our barley is sourced in the same country where it is malted, with the majority of our malthouses strategically located near local growers, customer facilities and key transport routes.
With 11% of a beer’s carbon footprint tied to transport, we’re cutting emissions through powerful partnerships, breakthrough technologies, and smarter ways to move malt.
In France, our switch to Oleo100 biofuel with rail partner, Europorte, has cut greenhouse gas emissions from trains leaving our Strasbourg malthouse by 60%.
